Hiking
Near our place is the Hunze riverbasin and the picturesque village of Bronneger. Upstream you will find the Hunze Valley with the water reserve of the Breevenen, recommended for a nice day hike. 10 minutes cycling from De Witte Buizerd you will find the Drouwenerzand, a nature reserve which is connected to the vast nature of the Drenthe plains. Plenty of opportunity for long days of hiking.

Swimming
At our neighbour’s place, 25graden Noord, our guests can make use of the lovely swimming pond for a small fee. A shallow area also makes this swimming pond suitable for young children.
